Faith, Hope & Love
"But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13). Paul says we now see in a mirror, dimly, but one day we will see face to face. Until then, faith, hope and love are the ways we come to understand God and to live fully. This section gathers studies on all three. "Faith is a Thing" shows that faith is something to be given, received and possessed, coming from hearing God's spoken Word. "If You Are Able" looks at the father of a boy with a mute spirit and Jesus' answer that all things are possible to the one who believes (Mark 9). "Trusting unto the End" encourages us to keep trusting that Jesus' desires will be fulfilled, whatever opposition the world brings. "Understanding Love" explains what love is, so we can recognize it and live in it. "Persecuted out of the World" reminds us that those who trust Yahweh may be rejected here, but have the promise of an eternal city. Start with any study that speaks to where you are today.
