Fornication

"You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14). Fornication, or sexual immorality, is one of the sins named in the Ten Words that Yahweh gave to Moses. Paul includes "the sexually immoral" among those whose ways are "contrary to the sound doctrine" (1 Timothy 1:10). God created marriage and sexuality with purpose, and Scripture is clear that using them outside His design is sin. This category looks at what the Bible says about fornication. Its study on homosexuality examines passages such as 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 and Leviticus 20:13, and explains that, like any other sin, it is something God desires repentance from. The aim of these teachings is not to single anyone out, but to be honest about what Yahweh has said, so that all of us can turn to Him and receive His forgiveness and new life in Jesus. This category is part of the wider series on The Ten Words, where each commandment shows us God's heart and our need for Him.
